Radxa only in this interface
USB Camera-2 is a separate camera channel with its own capture selection, settings and destination. It is not a second control panel for Camera-1. The Raspberry interface shown in the other guide has one general USB-camera tab.
Keep the two streams separate
Use different receiving endpoints/ports when streaming simultaneously. Available USB bandwidth, ports, encoder capacity and network bandwidth limit the combination; two tabs do not guarantee two cameras fit every physical setup.
Radxa: operate the second camera
1 → 2 → 3 → 4: detect Camera-2, apply its settings and separate destination, then start the chosen codec. 5 Verify this channel’s result; it is independent of Camera-1. Raspberry: the current interface has one general USB-camera tab; this second tab is Radxa-specific. For RTSP use rtsp://RADXA_IP:8554/live2, even if the generic on-screen hint says /live. To show Camera-2 in Cockpit, stop/redirect the other local stream and send Camera-2 to 127.0.0.1:8020. Continue controlling it here; the picture does not reassign Cockpit’s Camera-1 controls. Physical USB ports and available bandwidth still limit simultaneous cameras.
Operate it
- Connect the second compatible USB camera where the board’s available USB ports permit it.
- Use Camera-2’s detection control and check its action display.
- Choose resolution and bitrate; apply each with SET.
- Set its own receiver IP and UDP port, then SET each field.
- Use Play H264 or Play H265; Stop stops this channel.
Image controls
Color mode, HDR where supported, contrast, brightness and both flips work like Camera-1. Apply dropdown values with SET and verify the Camera-2 status console.
Transport controls
SEND UDP RTP uses this camera’s receiver IP/port. SEND TCP RTSP publishes Camera-2 at rtsp://RADXA_IP:8554/live2. Camera-1 uses /live. The generic text in the Camera-2 panel may still show /live; use /live2 for the second camera. Replace RADXA_IP with the board’s reachable LAN/VPN address.
View Camera-2 in Cockpit
Stop the stream currently feeding Cockpit, then send Camera-2 to local UDP 127.0.0.1:8020. Continue adjusting it in USB Camera-2. Receiving its picture does not reassign Cockpit’s Camera-1 controls.
For shared controls and destinations: Video routing.
