Raspberry

Choose Rspi Cam, CSI to HDMI Cam or USB Cam, where supported. CSI camera/HDMI-adapter changes can require the configuration or restart reported by the program. Select the source, then use Play or Stop.

02

Raspberry: select and operate the source

Current UAS interface with numbered annotations. Open at full resolution to read the controls; follow the corresponding explanation below.

1 Choose Rspi Cam, CSI to HDMI Cam or USB Cam, according to the connected equipment and supported board. 2 Select resolution and video bitrate, then press each SET. Apply contrast, brightness and flips the same way. 3 Play/Stop operates that selected source. 4 Fullscreen/PiP changes the view, not encoding resolution. 5 Read the action display. USB on Pi 4/5: Cockpit and the Usb-Camera tab control the same stream. Select USB Cam here to see its settings. CSI sources correspond to Rpi/Hdmi-Camera. Follow any source-change/restart message shown by the program.

03

Radxa

Cockpit controls the first USB camera. Use Usb Cam Detect, then Play H264 or Play H265. Stop stops that stream. USB Camera-2 is independent and retains its controls in its own tab.

04

Radxa: first USB camera in Cockpit

Current UAS interface with numbered annotations. Open at full resolution to read the controls; follow the corresponding explanation below.

ROCK 4D / ZERO 3W / ZERO 3E

1 Detect the first USB camera. 2 Apply resolution and bitrate with their SET buttons. 3 Start H.264 or H.265. 4 Stop ends that stream. 5 Fullscreen/PiP only changes the viewing layout. Cockpit and USB Camera-1 share the same pipeline and settings. USB Camera-2 remains independent in its own tab. Cockpit Play selects the local browser destination; sending the shared camera elsewhere redirects that stream.

05

One camera, two control panels

Cockpit USB and USB-Camera / USB Camera-1 operate the same pipeline. A change in either panel changes that camera. On Raspberry, Cockpit must be set to USB Cam to show its settings; CSI settings belong to the CSI source.

Cockpit Play selects the local browser destination. The dedicated camera tab can redirect that same stream to another IP/port; this does not produce a second copy. See Video routing.

06

Image and stream settings — both platforms

  • Select Resolution and Baudrate, pressing the adjacent SET after each change. In camera panels, “Baudrate” means video bitrate in Mb/s, not serial baud.
  • Contrast / Brightness: select low, normal or high, then SET.
  • Flip vertical / horizontal: choose orientation, then SET.
  • Black & White / Normal Color / Hyper Saturation select the image treatment.
  • HDR On / Off applies where supported by the selected camera/pipeline.

Read the action/status display to confirm the requested setting. A visible control does not guarantee that every camera supports that adjustment.

07

Viewing controls

Fullscreen enlarges Live Video; PiP opens browser Picture-in-Picture where supported. PiP placement above another fullscreen window depends on the browser/OS. The map and HUD have their own fullscreen controls. Fullscreen/PiP do not change encoding resolution.

08

Flight Instruments / Navigation Map

Expand the complete interface for your platform to locate the HUD, navigation map, flight-mode selector and aircraft actions. The numbered guides above explain the camera controls; parameter controls are shown below.

The HUD shows attitude, heading, air/ground speed, battery, voltage/current, altitude, GPS fix/satellites and energy/efficiency statistics. The map shows position and flight telemetry. Missing values require valid data from the controller; a map tile alone is not a GPS fix.

  • Reset Statistics: resets the displayed accumulated flight statistics.
  • Smooth roll/pitch/heading animation fills the visual gaps between messages; it does not increase the controller’s telemetry rate.
09

Use the navigation map

drag to pan, use +/− to zoom and the layer selector to change the background. Fullscreen expands the map; aircraft position requires valid GPS telemetry.

10

Flight Mode / Aircraft Action

Select a flight mode, then SET. For Arm, Disarm or PreFLT_Calib, choose the action and press SET. Only modes/actions supported and accepted by the connected controller can take effect. Confirm the reported mode/state afterward.

Telemetry ON / OFF controls telemetry operation; it does not arm/disarm the aircraft.

11

Parameters and battery: the controls to use

Current UAS interface with numbered annotations. Open at full resolution to read the controls; follow the corresponding explanation below.

Raspberry Pi & Radxa — same workflow; Raspberry shown.

1 → 2 → 3 → 4: connect the flight controller, read its parameters, search/select the intended parameter, enter its value and apply it. Check ACTION DISPLAY and read the value back to confirm acceptance. 5 Battery type/cell count is a separate display setup; its selections survive restart. It does not configure the controller’s battery monitor. The four lower shortcut fields each have their own SET. Flight Mode and Aircraft Action, above this card in Cockpit, also require their SET; confirm the controller’s reported result. HUD/map values require valid controller telemetry.

12

Read or change an FC parameter

  1. Establish the controller connection in Fly Controller.
  2. Press Read Parameters and wait for the results.
  3. Type the parameter name in SEARCH PARAM and select the result.
  4. Enter the intended value and use SET Parameter Value.
  5. Read the action/status display, then read back the value to confirm it was accepted.
13

Quick controls and readouts

The panel includes cruise/min/max airspeed, airspeed ratio, RTL/takeoff settings, arming check, loiter radius and SERIAL 0–4 baud readouts. The four shortcut inputs are Dinamic Airspeed Cruise, Dinamic Ground Speed, Airspeed Min and Loiter Radius: enter the desired value, press its SET and confirm the response. Dynamic speed commands are not a promise of a permanent stored parameter change.

14

Battery display setup

Choose Li-Po Bat or Li-ion Bat, select the cell count and press SET. These display selections are retained after restart. They do not configure the flight controller’s battery monitor or replace its measurements.

The flight-control workflow is shared by Raspberry and Radxa. Confirm live heartbeat and controller acknowledgement; a button press alone is not confirmation. Test changes with the aircraft secured before flight.
